Abstract:

The article provides monitoring of the population of bark beetles (Scolytinae) and their entomophages in the forests of the Ileyskiy Alatau on the territory of the Ile-Alatau State National Natural Park. In the outbreaks of outbreaks of bark beetles, there are dying Shrenk spruce trees found in a number of gorges. In this regard, we monitored the population of bark beetles (Scolytinae) on the endemic of the Schrenk spruce in the Ileyskiy Alatau. As a result of the monitoring of bark beetles (Scolytinae) on the endemic of the Shrenk spruce in the Ileyskiy Alatau, the species composition of bark beetles and their entomophages was established. During the years of the study, 17 species of bark beetles (Scolytinae) were encountered, with the Gauser bark beetle (Ips hauseri Reitt) dominating among the recorded species of bark beetles (Solytinae). Also found was a predator from the order of Hemiptera, a crumb bug - Scoloposcelis pulchella Zetterstedt, which had not been previously recorded in Kazakhstan

Key words: Shrenka spruce, pheromone, bark beetle, entomophage.

Introduction:

One of the first Addresses of the First President of the country to the people of Kazakhstan (October 10, 1997) reads: "The symbol of our country in the future should be a forest, not a desert."

This should be a program of action for current and future generations of foresters in the XXI century (Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2020).

In accordance with the instructions of President Kassym-Zhomart Kemelovich Tokayev in his Address to the People of Kazakhstan, more than 2 billion trees will be planted in forests and 15 million trees in settlements in Kazakhstan over five years (Message from the Head of State K. Tokayeva, 2020).

At present, not only negative anthropogenic factors, but also some natural biological factors, such as epiphytosis of diseases or mass proliferation of entry and quarantine pests, invasion of dangerous pests pose a serious threat to our forests. It is necessary to raise forest pathological monitoring and forest protection measures to the scientific and methodological level.

The use of biological methods and means of replacement against bark beetles, the main enemies of the Schrenk spruce, is a very important issue. This will preserve the biodiversity of forest cenoses.

In our study, the species composition of xylophagous crustaceans (Scolytinae) of the Tien Shan spruce, to determine their origin, as well as to determine their role in regulating the number of entomophagous bark beetles (Scolytinae) in the Trans-Ili Alatau. Research in the forests of the Trans-Ili Alatau and "Zh. Kazakh Research Institute of Plant Protection and Quarantine named after Zhiembayev ”LLP.
