Introduction:

The article presents the results of studies carried out on the territory of the State National Natural Park “Kolsai Lakes” in 2011-2020. For the first time in the park, an inventory of the fauna of hemiptera insects was carried out and 225 species belonging to 26 genera were discovered, of which 12 new species were identified, first discovered in Kazakhstan.

Hemiptera (Heteroptera) are land and aquatic insects of various types and sizes. The body is flat, rarely rounded, feeds plants and animals. Well-developed faceted eyes are located at both ends of the head. The body usually has simple eyes (not found in larvae, predators and Miridae). Whiskers 3-5 joints, located in front of the eyes. Oral apparatus are perforated. The suction nozzle has 3-4 joints, located in front of the head (Kerzhner, Yachevsky, 1964).

Insects are diverse in lifestyle and nutrition. There are aquatic and terrestrial species. Many species are phytophages, including many plant pests, as well as predators and bloodsuckers (key to Insects of the Far East of the USSR, 1988).

Today, there are 40,000 species of Hemiptera in the world, belonging to 50 genera. They got their name from the structure of the front wings, i.e. apices of the front wing.
