SNNP Dzhungar Alatau, Zhetysu region, Sarkand district, Sarkand city, Republic of Kazakhstan

Abstract:

The article presents the results of field studies on the species composition of the order Hemiptera (Heteroptera) on the Zhongar-Alatau State National Natural Park territory from May to August 2022. The research was carried out in the branches of the Zhongar-Alatau State National Natural Park of the Lepsinsky branch (Zhalanash, Agynykaty, Zhasylkol, Chernaya Rechka gorges), the Sarkand branch (Akshunak, Sarkan gorges) and the Alakol branch (Kokzhar Gorge). Insects were collected with an entomological air net by mowing, catching with a soil trap, small insects with an exhauster, and a night artificial light source. The study of fauna, biology, and ecology of insects was carried out by route studies and methods of stationary observation. The article provides brief information about each species' habitats and biological and ecological features. As a result of the study, 30 species of Hemiptera belonging to 9 families were identified on the Zhongar-Alatau State National Natural Park territory. The family of Pentatomidae (8 species), the family of Miridae (6 species), and the family of Lygaeidae (4 species), of the remaining 6 families, only 1-3 species have been identified. The Hemiptera of the Zhongar-Alatau SNNP are divided into 3 groups according to nutritional connections: zoophages - 4 species, zoophytophages - 1 species, and phytophages - 25 species.

Key words: Heteroptera, Djungar-Alatau State National Park, gorges.

Introduction:

Zhungar Alatau is a mountain in the eastern part of Kazakhstan, the northern and northwestern continuation of the Zhungar mountain system. It extends in the latitudinal direction between the Alakol pothole in the north and the Ili River in the south. Length 450 km, width 100-200 km. The Zhungar Alatau is crossed by the Koksu River on the west and the Buratal River on the east. These two parts form two large mountain ranges called the Northern and Southern Zhungar Alatau.

In accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 30, 2010 No. 370, the Zhungar Alatay State National Natural Park was established as part of the Sarkan, Alakol and Leps branches. The total area of the park is 356,022 hectares. Administratively, the park includes Aksu, Sarkan and Alakol districts of the Almaty region. In the Aksu region 55257 ha, in the Sarkan region 151947 ha, in the Alakol region 148818 ha. In the north, the Siberian meadow-steppe zone is widespread, in the south - steppe landscapes. The altitudinal belts of the mountain begin from the desert zone, covering the range from 500-600 m to 1200-1400 m in the foothills and internal plains. The steppe zone (from 1200-1400 m to 1800-2000 m) is located higher. Spruce and cypress forests grow here (https://Zhongaralataugnpp.kz).
